Sierra Leone International Director
Ashley Caycedo is passionate about working with children and more specifically orphans. In 2011 she graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, a minor in Nonprofit Management, and a minor in Sociology. While completing undergraduate and graduate school she worked for Frontline Outreach, a domestic nonprofit organization in Orlando Florida, as their Business Operations Coordinator.
In August of 2012 she began working on an MBA in International Economic Development through Eastern University. In completion of her masters program Ashley moved to Guwahati, Assam India for a 3-month internship at the Council of Baptist Churches in North East India. As an intern in the Justice and Peace department she focused on conflict transformation & peace building among tribes in the northeast, engaged with children at multiple non-education centers run by World Vision and Compassion International, and aided at theological universities.
In June of 2014 she joined Acts 2 Collective as our International Missions Director. Ashley became International Director for Sierra Leone in 2016. She spent 8 months in country learning the ins and outs of our on the ground work at Jonathan’s Child Care Ministries. Currently, Ashley is also the Executive Director for Acts 2 Collective. Her desire is to continue to participate in work that transforms the lives of children and communities by improving where they live and introducing them to Christ’s love.
