Happy New Year!

A special thank you to each and every one of you who has supported our mission work in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Chad, and Central African Republic. Your support through prayers, donations, and words of encouragement were felt and greatly appreciated. We are excited about 2018 and the things God has already begun to do in this new year. This newsletter will be filled with some organizational updates. If you have any questions or comments please contact Ashley Caycedo at Ashley@acts2collective.org. We wish you all a Happy 2018!

2017 Giving Letters

End of the year tax donation letters have been printed and mailed out. You should receive your letter over the next week. This letter can be kept for your records and used for tax deduction purposes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for uniting with us in 2017.

Out with the Old in with the New

Acts 2 Collective has experienced wonderful growth over the last two years. With that being said we launched two new things at the beginning of the year. The first is our website, it has a new look with more details about the different countries we work in. We are still in the process of updating the content, but we encourage you to go take a look!
The second new thing this year is an online donation and database system. Clover donations has met a great need throughout our initial years as an organization, but with all the different things we are doing in West and Central Africa we think this new system will help us provide you with the best donor experience. This new platform allows you to select specific dates for recurring donations, write the purpose of your donation, select what country you want to support, and much more. Starting this week we will begin transferring donors to the new system. Our newsletter will also be sent through this system. To ensure you continue to receive these newsletters please visit our website and sign up with your preferred email address. We know this will be a time of transition, but we thank you for your cooperation through it all.

Update on the Sullivan’s

I remember talking to Jake in 2014 at the beginning stages of God rocking his heart for missions. The more I got to know him the more I saw his passion for both basketball and international missions. Over the past few years his heart has grown for reaching others with the Gospel, particularly unreached people groups. As God has asked many times for Jake and his family to pick up their cross daily, this time he asked them to lay one down in Iowa and pick up a new one up in Minnesota. Details on what life in Minnesota will look like are still up in the air, but we know God is in control and will bless their obedience. Jake will be using this new city as an opportunity to increase fundraising for Acts 2 Collective and partner with more churches. This move will not impact anything organizationally; it just means we now work in two states instead of one. We are so excited to see how God uses the Sullivan’s in their new city. Please be praying for Jake, Janel, and their children through this time of transition.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
