Adults and children worldwide die daily due to treatable and preventable diseases like malaria, respiratory infections, diarrhea, prenatal conditions, measles, and HIV/AIDS. For this reason, we are intentionally involved in several areas of healthcare. Village medical clinics are focused on providing resources for pregnant women, safe child birthing, and infant care. Other programs are focused on traveling to remote villages to teach smart health practices, provide HIV testing, and offer treatment plans for individuals. Our goal is to build clinics in central and secure locations. This maximizes the number of neighboring villages that can receive care while simultaneously minimizing the risk of stigma associated with many of these common health issues.
“Good health is one of the most important ingredients for a happy and productive life. And yet, many people do not have access to health care and live in conditions that spread disease.” ~ Robert Alan Silverstein
