Supporting Organizations

Acts 2 Collective is strongly supported by its community in Iowa. Businesses, schools, and churches help support the work we do around the world. We encourage everyone to visit their businesses and support them as they support us.

Bella Homes Bella Homes

is a construction business that designs and builds personalized homes in Central Iowa. They partnered with Kingdom Cares International at the beginning of our work in Asikuma, Ghana, by helping with the construction of a medical center. Bella Homes staff members are active supporters of our mission and regularly visit the village of Asikuma.

Drake University Drake University

is a private university located in Des Moines, Iowa. It has partnered with us by offering a J-term class through their school of education, which allows education majors to join us on our January mission trip. They spend 10 days helping teach in the Ghanaian schools and share new teaching techniques with the Ghanaian teachers. Future plans include some graduates of Drake University moving to the village of Asikuma and helping with the opening of a K-12 private school.

5K Kael man Run 5K Kael man Run

raises money to help families who are looking to adopt children by providing financial grants that assist with costs involved in the adoption process. Derek and Dawn Grooters have created this race to honor their son Kael so that God can use his life to change the lives of others. Their desire is to help children find families who will love them and teach them about God. Proceeds from this race are donated to the Acts 2 Collective Adoption Fund.

Siouxland Christian School Siouxland Christian School

strives to partner with parents in order to raise godly children amidst an environment of academic, athletic, and musical excellence. As God continues to bless them in every way, they also want to bless others, adhering to Hebrews 13:16, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Their sincere prayer is that God will multiply their humble gifts to the teachers in Asikuma, through Kingdom Cares Community School, to do mighty works with regard to bringing many not only to salvation, but educating them in a manner to be successful and in turn further the kingdom of God.

600 Monkeys 600 Monkeys

is a computer service and support business located in West Des Moines, Iowa. They have generously donated several laptop computers to our organization. These laptops have been shared with our partners in Ghana and are being used at the Kingdom Cares Mission School in Asikuma.
